Engaged Photos

My fiancé came to visit me for the weekend (YAH!). We went through some premarital counseling with our wedding pastor and got to spend some time together. I convinced Montrell we had to go get some engagement pictures in before he left so I could start working on wedding stuff. Our first attempt was with a tripod & remote...which I hated. I take 90% of our photos this way, but it's too hot in Tx to be running back and forth setting up different angles.

The next day I got my little sister to visit us and roped her into taking pictures for us. Basically, I told her to take a thousand photos and I would edit them how I wanted. She did a great job (we got about 500 to choose from). I think she's learned a thing or two from her photo-sister :)

After a little while at the awesome building location, we traveled a bit to find a wooden area I'd been wanting to use for a while. After a few pictures in my striped maxi, [I decided I was too short for it] we changed back into our wedding-exit-clothes.

Montrell's "groom" shirt is from the Wedding Chicks shop. I love it! It fit him perfectly and goes with our quirky-balloon-casual-fun-wedding-theme we have going on. BUY ONE for your man.

Oh yeah, my dress is from the clearance rack at Target :)
Love me some chevron print.

Hope you guys had a great Labor Day weekend and start to the [short] week.
