Birthday Gambling
My best friend/roommate, Crystal's birthday was today. We started her day off right with a breakfast of champions and a peppermint mocha from Starbucks. Yum!
I couldn't find any of my party balloons around the house, but I did manage to find pink streamers. It made our little Christmas dining room a little more pink and birthday-friendly.
We also gave her a box full of pennies and note telling her we were headed to Winstar World Casino in Oklahoma! 1. To celebrate her birthday. 2. To gain instant wealth...yeah, right!
It was a rainy ride to Oklahoma, but we made it! We spent nearly 5 hours pressing those buttons, winning small and losing big. I ended up breaking even, $20 spent, $20 won. Crystal hit it big for her birthday, winning $20 more than she spent. We had a lot of fun and want to go back...but, not too soon. It's way too addicting. Now I know how people have problems with gambling!
