Our Un-Decorated Bedroom

The new place is slowly coming along (didn't think I'd still have things misplaced a month and a half after

the move,

but life happens and it is what it is, sometimes!). Our new bedroom is a lot smaller than the one we had

in our last apartment.

Many changes have been made from

our last place

because of that plus, I'm enjoying the much less decorating, more usability and necessity thing for now.

A little while ago, I realized that, besides our wedding album, I didn't really have any images printed from our special day around the house...so, go big, or go home, right? I printed one of my favorite images (after our wedding on the roof of Lofty Spaces) and added our hashtag in photoshop. I printed it as a engineering/industrial print at Office Max (super cheap, $7) and they accidentally printed it as on photo paper. Win for me! Tacked up with some washi tape and "framed" by what we used to use in our living room, a nice simple piece of wedding goodness is now the main attraction in the room.

Did I mention this bedroom is a lot smaller than our last one? Okay, good. It's so much smaller, that our

dressers (I worked so tirelessly to paint)

are too big to be our night stands. *plays world's smallest violin* After making one of my monthly trips to IKEA, I saw gray

RÅSKOG kitchen carts

for the first time and fell in love. I'm a sucker for the industrial look, so I knew these would be perfect. They hold tons of stuff and are the perfect height (short night stands are such a "no-no" for me!).

I did find a place to put

our dressers

together, across the room. They have made our tv the perfect watching-height (although we no longer have cable in there!) I don't like the dresser color much anymore, but I'm not about to make that overhaul anytime soon!

There's a little glimpse into our new place.

Hopefully I'll have more and more rooms to share soon!
