If you follow me on social media (especially snapchat), you'll know that I am no makeup artist. Whenever there's ever a 48-hour stretch where I can be without it all completely, I feel my best! But, it's simply a painful annoyance that I must do. With rosacea & psoriasis, I don't have a choice!

Since two days in a row without makeup rarely ever happens, here's the stuff that gets me through:

GREEN PRIMER - My friend Brittany recommended e.l.f. Studio Mineral Infused Face Primer to me and it works like a dream. The primer helps the rest of my makeup actually stay on my face most of the day and the Tone Adjusting Green tint helps contain some of the natural redness I have. Plus, when they claim a "satin finish," they're speaking truth. Your face will feel like satin!

BB CREAM - I have seen the light of BB and I love it! I was using a higher-end version at first, but it made my face really oily (I have combination skin). When I tried Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream out, I knew I had found the one for me.

NUDE EYE SHADOW - My Naked 2 palette is probably the most expensive makeup item I've ever (or will ever) purchase. Worth it! I have used several shades up completely because they're so perfect for the every-day look.

3D LASHES - Younique's Moonstruck lashes are the best! I gave them a review a while ago. I'll be using this after-mascara from now on, especially for special occasions.

LIP GLOSS - I got Mary Kay's NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in my stocking one year (and this year again). I've always preferred a gloss to a lipstick and this small little gloss is a perfect addition, in any shade.

COCONUT OIL - If you're using anything else to take off your eye makeup, I'm sorry to tell you, but you're doing it wrong. Dab a little coconut oil (either solid or fractionated) onto a cotton ball and wipe away. It's the most effective way to take it off (seriously, so quick).

TOWELETTES - I use these cheap-o Equate Beauty Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to help clean off my face at the end of the day. I also wipe off the coconut oil with it. Takes all the makeup off and leaves me with a face, ready for sleep.

I don't really have a favorite powder, eyeliner or mascara. I float from brand to brand each time I run out. Any recommendations I'll fall in love with? I need to add some more brands to my go-to list!
