Colorful Christmas

I have a hate-hate relationship with the color red right now. I used to love it as a kid and painted my bedroom walls red as a teen. I don't why this suddenly clicked with me, but it did and I really don't like anything in my home with the color. 

That's why my holiday decorations are usually without the hue too. I know, I know. Christmas IS normally red and green...but, I prefer bright, neon, pinks and oranges. I've been wanting to make my Christmas tree colorful and fun for the past few years, and I finally found the perfect ornaments during last year's after-holiday clearance sale. 

Other than the tree and new ornaments, not too much more is new this year. I did add some Christmas photos into our usual frames and made a "Ya Filthy Animal" banner for the fireplace. 

I dread having to put away these pretty decorations. I miss Christmas already and it's not even over yet!
