Coach and I love to sleep. Sleep in, take naps in the afternoon, go to bed early, etc. I think we're still holding on to that magical time of college where 9+ hours of sleep was a feasible goal and you didn't have anything to do before 10 a.m. Now that we're real adults and whatnot, we must wake up before 7 each weekday...and a lot of the weekends. Even though we leave the house about the same time, our morning breakfast routines are very different. Here's how we do it:
THE GO-GETTER | COACH
Even though he loves to snooze, he wakes up a little earlier, just so he can eat his Honey Nut Cheerios in a bowl with milk. He takes his time, sits at a table (or stands by a countertop) and eats his whole morning meal even before my third alarm rings. Yep, third.
THE SLEEPY BUM | SAVANNAH
That would be me! I sleep in until the very last second that I know I can get makeup and clothes on and run out of the door. I have a longer commute and prefer eating my breakfast while I'm sitting in traffic. That's not really possible with milk. So, I bag up my Honey Nut Cheerios and eat them dry in the car or in my office, both places I'm always jamming out to music.
