Sunday Social Fall

I was so excited to see this week's link up questions for Sunday Social. Fall is my favorite season of the year. It's crazy to think that it is already almost here. Where did Summer go? Better question: WHO CARES?! It's so hot here, I'm ready for a bit of a Fall breeze.
Sunday Social
1. What is your favorite Fall activity? I really love the Fall, probably because it's football season. I grew up as a coach's kid in Texas, so that's all I knew. I was the girl in high school who taped ankles, threw around sweaty towels and passed out water bottles. I loved my stinky life on the sidelines and my love for the game has never faded. I'm still a true Texan -coach's kid at heart!
2. Do you follow a football team? If so, which one and why? Yes! Yes! Yes I do. Let me break it down into categories. This is going to be so much fun for me, y'all...

Professional: I'm a Cowboys fan by my birthright. If you live in East Texas all your life, the "Boys" are your team. No questions asked. However, after playoffs begin, I start rooting for teams that are actually still playing! My next favorite teams are the Chicago Bears (their head coach, Lovie Smith is from near my hometown), the Minnesota Vikings (I love me some Adrian Peterson. I watched him play in high school and I always have to root for my East Texans) and wherever it is Tim Tebow is playing (Gotta love a player that loves Jesus!)

College: I love my Mean Green, especially since I'm a graduate. I only missed a few games during my 4 football seasons I was a student at UNT. We haven't always done so well, but our big year is coming. I just know it!
High School: I'm sure not a ton of you have stepped foot into a stadium to watch a high school game, since you were in high school. NOT ME! I think there is such an excitement with high school games that can't be compared to the higher levels. My Dad and I have a tradition of going to as many high school playoff games as we can. Ever been to see 5 high school games in a row? I have! Happens every year at Cowboys Stadium. Fun times I tell you. Fun times.

Did I mention I love football above and beyond any sport? Well, now you know!

3. What is something fun about Fall in your area? There's quite a few pumpkin patches around the DFW area. Montrell and I went to one a couple of years ago in Flower Mound. It was cute for pictures, for sure. I want to start a tradition of pumpkin-picking and carving (mainly because I'm awesome at it).
4. Fav Fall outfit staples? Fall is CARDIGAN SEASON and that makes my heart smile. I definitely need more to add to my collection. Luckily, I'm already starting to see them in Target and Old Navy. Yah for cardigan season!

5. Thing you are looking forward to most about this coming Fall season? My wedding is November 18th, so anything and everything that goes with that (showers, planning, buying, etc) is super exciting. I expect this might just be the best Fall ever.

6. Favorite Fall holiday? Traditions? I love decorating the house with pumpkins, leaves and all-things-Fall. I have a huge bucket/tub in my home full of decor just for my favorite season. Absolutely love it. Next to Christmas, it's my most decorated season.
