ALL I have been doing for the past few days is sorting, planning, tagging, repeat. Yard sales are tough stuff people, especially when you aren't using your own home's "yard" to sell in. The time is almost here and I think my sister and I are finally ready.
We have tons of stuff to sell and we've priced everything so low we should be ashamed (nothing is over $5). For us, it's all about getting rid of old things, not necessarily making money.

If you happen to be in East Texas tomorrow, we'll be sitting beside the Hawkins, TX post office sweating our heads off (high is 96 degrees!) I'll be posting results and a Yard Sale how-to (or how NOT to, according to how it all goes) this weekend. Check out our Facebook event for more info and directions :) Happy thrifting.

Ugh I wish you were doing this in Denton! I am spying so much that I want. You should take pictures of whatever doesn't sell on facebook or here so I can have a chance to score some great stuff! :)
ReplyDeleteI probably will be doing that within the next week, once I move from Denton :) There's quite a few great things left.
