The Olympics and P&G

Are you guys as excited for the Olympics as I am? I just get a little mind-boggled every time I think of how our crazy/debating/fighting world can get together every four years. It is truly remarkable that a tradition from way back when (776 BC) is still going. Awesome!

My excitement has been looming since the US Trials were on, but it seems like it's taken forever to arrive! Well, tonight is the night: the Opening Ceremonies begin at 6:30pm(central) on NBC.

As an advertising major, I've been marveling at all the beautiful Olympic commercials that P&G has been giving us. I'm not even a Mom yet, but their campaign truly pulls at my motherly-heartstrings. They are all so great, but Yahoo pointed this one out in an old article and I needed to share.

Will you guys be watching? My eyes will be glued! My love of both pop culture and sporting events make this an even more exciting evening. The games were made for people like me!
